Straight answers before you commit

ABP Consulting is a French management-training and coaching firm working in Singapore. It runs management, sales and communication training, facilitates team seminars, and provides one-to-one coaching for managers and business owners.

From half a day to three days depending on the course. Any course can also be split into half-days spread over several weeks, which usually suits managers who cannot leave their team for consecutive days.

Participants receive an attendance certificate from ABP Consulting naming the programme and its duration. These are professional development programmes, not accredited qualifications.

Training teaches a shared method to a group and suits several people needing the same foundation. Coaching starts from one person's specific situation, has no curriculum, and suits a manager stuck on something particular.

Yes. The employer agrees the objective at the outset and receives progress against that objective, never the content of sessions. What is said in a session stays between coach and client.

Yes. You meet two or three certified coaches before the work starts and pick the one you want. Nobody is assigned a coach, because the fit between the two people is what determines whether the engagement produces anything.

About twelve hours in total, in eight to ten sessions of sixty to ninety minutes, two to three weeks apart — an engagement of roughly six months. The volume is fixed before the first session rather than extended as it goes.

English, French or Spanish — not Mandarin, Malay or Tamil. This site can be read in Chinese, but the sessions are not delivered in Chinese, and we would rather say so here than in a first meeting.

Yes, and it is the most common format — often the more effective one, because participants work on real situations from their own organisation rather than on generic case studies.

Most courses run with six to twelve participants, so that everyone works on a real situation. Team coaching is sized to the team itself.

Our courses run in-company only, so fees are quoted per group and depend on duration, group size and location. Ask us and we will send a firm figure.

At your own premises anywhere in Singapore, at a venue you book, or online. Participants elsewhere in the region join online; an in-person session outside Singapore is discussed case by case.

Not to date. ABP is opening the Singapore market and says so rather than letting it be assumed. Case studies and named references will appear here only once each client has agreed in writing to be named.

Do not count on it. SkillsFuture course-fee funding generally applies to courses approved by SkillsFuture Singapore and run by providers registered with it, and ABP holds no such registration. We would rather tell you that before you book.
